APRIL SHOWERS:

A - A shell, broken at new dawning of April,

P- Peeping from nests, promise of new quill,

R- Rampant raw rantings, of floral hued frill,

I- Ice now melting, down upon yonder hill,

L- Laughter beckons, down by mossy old mill.

S- Sprinkling of diamonds, disguised as showers,

H- Hare leaps & bounds, at long Summer hours,

O- Over breasts of the earth, carpet of flowers,

W- Winding tendril in maiden hair & soft bowers,

E- Every little creature, everywhere, now scours,

R- Regal, raptors, watching from rocky tor towers,

S- Spring is in the air, now wielding her powers.
