THE VOICE:

I am the voice; do you hear me calling you?

I sing, I chide, I scold, I whisper & I also woo,

I tell you to go, to stay, to say yes & also no,

I am the voice that gabbles & mumbles low.

I am the voice, hark my tune & heed my words,

Once said & sung, I fly upon wings of lost birds,

Listen soft to silence, at dawn when dew glisters,

I am the voice & inside you, it is me who whispers.

I am the voice, who beckons, calls & at times yells,

The stories & songs, all you hear, it´s me who tells,

I tell you what to do & don´t, to sleep, love & play,

I am the voice, “Listen child, now kneel down & pray”.
