THE KNOT:

As knotted as the snake entwined,
You & I embrace, trying hard to find,
The centre of our love, sure & knotted,
The core pampered, not ruined & rotted.

Let not the saddened rope of infidelity,
Nor spitting lies, belying old incredulity,
Un-slithered loose from the Celtic knot,
God´s freedom granted, but wanted not.

From where do you start, I do not know,
From which end do I begin, where do I go?
Twirled & swirled in twisted labyrinthic code,
How do the omens for entwined love bode?

Slip-knotted with love, tightly bound & tied,
Together forever, undyingly, we really tried,
Knotted, sorely slotted, into love´s twined maze,
Until the end, when our souls are mere misty haze.
