THE FIDDLER:

I hear the happy fiddler´s music on the breeze,
Please fiddle me fandangos of a filigreed frieze,
Strum your viola & viol of fine medieval strings,
Wending joyful songs where my old heart sings,
Pray, caress your violin with your fingertip´s tears,
So that I may dance down the lost corridors of years,
Please pluck your banjo with sweet promises of love,
So that I may fly away upon the wings of the dove,
Oh my happy little fiddler with your fiddle-dee-dee,
I ask you please, fiddle me happy & fiddle me free.
