SHOAL:

Silver threaded shards a shimmering,
Mere swift fleeting glances a shivering,
Slicing through crisp waters, icy cold,
Fishermen await with death´s netted hold,
Slippering whispers,brined wave and tide,
Flashes of silvery light sparkle and glide,
Scale, beady eye, gill and paper-thin-fin,
Darting in metallic myriads, swish & swim,
Came & gone, briefly I see you, swiftly espying,
Minute reflecting mirrors, cold & wetly flying,
Diamonds of Neptune´s crown, of surf & brine,
Deep treasures from Poseidon’s salty mine,
Little fishies, fishlets, sardines in silver shoals,
Tiny little creatures with sweet droplet souls,
You give your little lives so other creatures live,
One so small & helpless has so much love to give.
