I am the eagle in the sky,

I am the sun that warms the day,

I am the safety of sheltered bay,

I am the child at sleep & play,

I am to whom you kneel & pray,

I am, in your dark, your lighted way.

I am the lighthouse in stormy seas,

I am the oasis in hot desert breeze,

I am the beacon beyond night trees,

I am the moon in dim dark squeeze,

I am your inner voice on bended knees.

I am the earth where man has trod,

I am the ground where beast doth plod,

I am where the drought leaves its clod,

I am where the flood weaves sad sod,

I am all, everything, I am you, I am GOD.
