THE STAR, THE MOON, THE SWALLOW & I:

I saw upon dawn´s bland unblemished sky,
Venus, as a diamond, shining bright & high,
The moon, a slither, as crystal cut so fine,
The swallow danced between the two,
Three in the universe, just the three & I.

Human asleep, in this state you dearly pay,
Missing life´s total eternal reason,
No word need be uttered, no effort be made,
The sky knows, so does the star & the moon,
The swallow smiles knowingly & flies forever silently away.
