By those who loved you, from the day of your
birth,
Wishes bestowed, for everything good on this
earth,
Every bad omen, cut down, wished away &
well hewn,
Protected by best wishes, well wished &
far strewn.
Wishes dreamt & into wishing wells,
fingered & tossed,
Together with golden coins & into
fountains embossed,
Upon falling stars & from yearning
hearts, solely told,
Within flickering candles, night´s wishes,
dark blowed,
From old souls to the Gods, ancient wishes
soft prayed,
In words of sweet love, gently begged,
bargained & made,
And by all but the moon, deemed indulgent
& capricious,
Mere whispers upon the breath, of desired
dear wishes.
