Earth gathering her skirts around her,
Praying for every root, seed & tiny burr,
And kneeling upon her forested knees,
Asking Goddess above, to protect her trees.
Waters of the world, uniting in wetted words,
Praying in watery temples for every beast
& bird,
And in voices of silky oceans & silty
river beds,
Asking Gods of tridents, to bow their saline
heads.
Sun, from his chariot, gleaming & softly
beaming,
Praying to Gods grand, in golden sunny
dreaming,
And in shimmering arias, his psalms soft singing,
Asking that his warmth, in cold lands, go winging.
Moon, mantled in bejeweled vestment of beams,
Praying to those higher that her nightly dreams,
And her voice of Angels & silvered starry
eyes,
Asking merely for love, for all among her skies.
The wind howled & blew in his breathy breeze,
Praying in sighs, for all those, who coldly freeze,
And all over the world, his prayer was duly heard,
Asking his blowy Gods, in Holy & sacred words.
Oh to Deities all, for all we are about to receive,
For gathered harvests, full nests & falling
leaves,
For feather, fur, scale, talon, paw & all
fallen men,
Elemental voices, to Gods, joined in prayer, Amen,
AMEN.
