Spring comes forth, impatiently frisky &
flighty,
Leaving behind winter, angry, hoary &
mighty,
From icicled fingers, cold winter runs
slipping,
To spring´s sappy arms, libido rampantly
dripping.
Spring kissed summer, in sweat-slicked
embrace,
Dancing upon petals, with her rose-pinched
face,
Seductively, fertile, her skirts, blatantly
sly-lifting,
Into golden autumn, within her gentle soft shifting.
Autumn, the season of mantles & fireside cuddles,
Under blanketed leaves & sad weeping puddles,
The holding of hands, beneath teardrop sprinkles,
Wreathed & wafting, in white wintertime wrinkles.
Winter sheds autumnal coat, golden & thread-thin,
Shivering in bones transparent & finely-spun-skin,
Embracing in love & earth, now secretly entwined,
Recalling days, when springtime´s sun once shined.
