SOLACE:

Let me lay my ear upon the breast of the earth,

To listen to the universe while giving sweet birth,

Let me rest my eyes upon distant horizons afar,

So kisses upon my eyelids will leave soft scar,

Let me be embraced by the wind´s sweet arms,

So I shall know solace without any sad harms,

Let me be rinsed by cool rivers & warm seas,

To be bedded in moss beneath loving old trees,

Solace, merely solace, upon this earth I seek,

Where voices upon breezes are kindly & meek.
