A NECKLACE OF DEWDROPS:

I´ll give you a necklace of dewdrops, spun upon spider´s web,

Every small droplet, a note, from the humming bird´s sweet neb,

Every tiny bead, a promise, an oath & a wish full of joyful hope,

You´ll wear it next to your skin, caressing your translucent throat.

I´ll give you a necklace of dewdrops, as diamond tears of the rain,

Every perfect dewdrop, nestled, upon your breast, where it´s lain,

Each little droplet tells it´s story, of how this old word once began,

You´ll wear it long before ageing & melting in the sunshine, it ran.
