Sometimes we swear, say words that really sting,

Sometimes we wish, to be in some other place,

Sometimes, the truth, we just don’t want to face,

Sometimes we wish, to have just a little more fun,

Sometimes we ask, “Why on this earth am I here?”

Sometimes our thoughts, instill such irrational fear,

Sometimes we know, that our love is worth the fight,

Sometimes, but just sometimes, we laugh at our folly,

Sometimes we ask, “Do we deserve to be so jolly?”
