Paths that go up & others that go down,
Paths that go straight & some go around,
Paths that are found & a few that are lost,
Paths that are even, some others embossed.
Some paths are smooth & others are hilly,
Some paths look serious, others quite silly,
Some paths are stony, bumpy & very rough
Some paths are simple & others call our bluff.
Paths from birth to death are varied & plenty,
Paths that are full & others completely empty,
Paths rich & verdant, pretty floraled & streamed,
Paths that are arid, some only vaguely dreamed.
Of the paths we take, some seem so very wrong,
Losing our way on the short & on the very long,
But whichever path we take it´s always correct,
It is the path we must follow, straight & direct.
All paths go & lead to where we finally must end,
The paths that we amble along will all just depend,
On the lessons we need & what we have to learn,
The path you´re on now is right, so no need to turn.
