I was there,
with lashing tail, fin, silvered scale & flaxen hair,
In Atlantis,
deep below, in the ancient ocean´s & sea´s briny lair,
I was there,
in fine feathered plumes, where the sweet wind blows,
In the heaven´s
above, where Angels play harps & God´s love glows,
I was there,
garbed in flaring scarlet, orange & burning crimson red,
In the rays
of the sun, where the Phoenix rose from his hot ashy bed,
I was there,
mantled in suit of rooted stems & my soul of nutty pod,
In the dark
loamy soil, waiting beneath life´s brown, rich & silty sod,
I was there,
within all my elements, south, north, east & windy west,
In the four
directions, wearing moonbeams & nature´s old breezy vest,
I am here
now, on this worldly earth, clad only within my cloak of flesh,
In my human
form, veined, webbed & caught within life´s earthly mesh.
