When did I get to be so grumpy & old?
When did my voice turn so hard & bold?
When did my smile turn so upside down?
When did laughter lines turn into a frown?
Am I grumpy because life´s flown so fast?
No, it´s only because you live in the past,
Is my voice hard due to the lack of its use?
No, it´s due to hurting, self blame & abuse.
Did my smile slip to the end of my face?
No, lack of practice put it out of its place,
Laughter lines & what happened to them?
You just forgot about the happiness of men.
It’s time to bid farewell to the grumpy old
man,
It´s time to sing a new song to my life´s new
plan,
And it´s now time to smile the other way around,
Then your laughter lines will be returned &
found.
