CHOICES:

Cancer, that loneliness, lying in waiting,

With watchful eyes & it´s breath, abating,

His victim, lives his life & is still unaware,

Doing all he desires & still, all that he dares.

Then the symptoms hit & diagnosis made,

And upon life´s table, the cards then laid,

The medics say, “You have two choices”,

“To treat or not?” he hears those voices.

“No guarantees, in whatever you choose,

No one would want to walk in your shoes,

It´s in the roll of the dice, whichever way,

No one can tell you, if you are here to stay”.
