FOR THOSE WHO DIE ALONE:

For all of those who die on their own,

Remember, you´re not really alone,

On deathbed forsaken, by long gone son,

Forgotten by parent, spouse or anyone.

Young soldier, on bloodied & battlefield plain,

Abandoned cur, alone & dying in abject pain,

The infirm & lonely in their friendless homes,

The aged with none to heed their lonely moans.

Forgotten, man dying upon world´s global streets,

Out of sight & mind, the sad orphaned lamb bleats,

Those across oceans & deserts of the faraway lands,

Flower, dropping last petal upon drought´s arid sands.

Know, the breeze you feel, is my breath on your face,

Shadows you see, is me by your side, taking my place,

For all of you, those who think you are dying alone,

Remember, you will never really die on your own.
