Pretty fingered light,
playing with soft dapplings,
Darting through small
pebbles & brand new saplings,
Shimmering over ponds,
in flashing shivered ripplings,
Teasing youthful heads,
of the new summer striplings.
Playing hide-&-seek,
amongst new stones & old shadows,
Dancing gaily over
fens, through forests & green meadows,
Deep into glens, old
caves & canyons, then go seeking shade,
Bowing low to dusky
sunset, bidding farewell & then to fade.
