Death spoke to life, one dark &
moonless night,
In those twilight hours, before birthing of
new light,
“Come with me”, he said, “I´ll guide you
safely home,
No more upon this lonely earth, will you have
to roam”.
“Why is it you call me?” asked life, in
ebbing of breath,
“We´re two sides of the same coin”, said
awaiting death,
“As
existence is such a lonely place, when we walk alone,
So death, please hold my hand & walk me
safely home”.
