Who am I hurting
by just being me?
I don´t hurt man,
beast, bird nor tree,
Who am I hurting
by just saying no?
World keeps
turning & winds still blow.
Who am I hurting
by saying, “let me be?”
When I say it,
wild beasts still run free,
Who am I hurting?
Tell me if you know,
Because breezes
still blow & seas still flow.
Being in my skin,
mind & my own little soul,
Tell me who I´m
hurting, when all´s been told?
The sun still
shines if I don´t do your bidding,
Moon wanes, waxes
& doesn’t fall skidding.
Tell me, who am I
hurting by just being me?
I plead to one &
all, to please leave me be,
And when I say “no”,
please heed & listen,
Because just as I am,
the stars still glisten.
