Horizons, away
in the distance of far reaching eyes,
Where ocean
offers its lips for a kiss from the skies,
Where wavelets
of foam cheeks, soft, peachy & pink,
Proffered to
rose dusk, as Venus gives a bow & a wink,
A chevron of
birds carrying away my wishes on wings,
Dreams
disappearing in soft feathered mauve strings,
That world of
horizons, where the world I know ends,
Where sea
& the sky dance & then majestically bends,
Place where
heaven meets the earth in lilac new dawns,
New-day-eye rests, slowly stretches &
eagerly yawns,
Horizons
where Goddesses of hope have their blue lair,
I know deep
in my heart that I really want to go there.
