The little voice said,

Hello I´m here, please look inside,

I haven´t come here to skulk & hide,

Don´t leave me alone, hold my hand,

Don´t bury your head in forgetful sand.

 

The little voice said,

Hello I´m here, please look in my eyes,

I know what you see, you´ll not despise,

Don´t ignore my plea & my urging voice,

Please get to know me, you have no choice.

 

The little voice said,

Hello I´m here, please be my good friend,

I am not here to irk, no need to pretend,

Don´t turn your head & look the other way,

I am here for eternity & its here I will stay.

 

The little voice said,

Hello, remember me?  I´m the child you once were,

The little girl you once played with, remember her?

Please come back & play, as I´ve always loved you,

Tell me, why can you not, love that little girl too?
