Hail to Mother of all waters, watching from
old moon,
Patron of every drop, from womb to beckoning
tomb,
Of spume blown by whales & rain from weeping
sky,
Of every little teardrop, that falls from every
tiny eye.
Hail to Lady of all waters, of oceans, lakes
& merry seas,
Of every little dew drop, upon petals &
morning trees,
Kissing with love & waves, all shells &
distant shores,
To her of angry storms & in thunder, when
she roars.
Hail to Woman of all waters, the Maid, Mother & Crone,
Whispering all her liquid secrets, in rivers
& saline foam,
Lifting her spumy skirts, releasing tears upon
dear earth,
Evaporating to the heavens & then given
again new birth.
