Raindrops of tears
from the sad grey weeping sky,
Simply for the summer,
who has now to ebb & die,
Running down chapped
cheek of dry & sullied earth,
Now´s time for autumn
to bring forth gold & russet birth.
Raindrops of tears,
for the sheer & pure unadulterated joy,
Simply for the joyous
weeping & the birth of every girl & boy,
Dripping, the tears
from life´s soul, soft & so very dewy eyed,
Tenderly kissed by
winter winds, until they´ve stopped & dried.
Please weep me tender
teardrops, from the Angel´s lagrimal,
Little diamonds of
frosted-water, icy-kissed, soft & autumnal,
With every little droplet
wept, each with its very own tale to tell,
Dropping-dripping down
to earth, with dawn´s tolling of the bell.
