Hippopotamus, related to horse & hippo for short,
Comical beast with toothy grin & a pig-like snort,
Grey, fat assed, grand of mouth & very short
limbed,
Sassy waddling, with small pretty ears neatly trimmed.
Disney´s Fantasia´s tutu clad joke & that of many
a butt,
Oblivious in your hole, as into muddy waters you fatly
strut,
Deeply swimming & splashing in your soddy African
hollow,
With little pink eyes always peering through muddy
wallow.
Crunching on sweet river reeds, cutely you slowly
ploddingly go,
With shell-like ears peeping above water, you
steamingly blow,
Snorting & huffing creamy dawn´s musky air of African
dreams,
But down below your waters, morphing into killing machines.
