Nigger boy, kaffir face, black being,
Generation of tears, parched repression,
Running down dusty waterless skin, eyes without
seeing.
Steel thoughts invade your slave-beaten brain,
Vendetta, aggression, restriction in store,
Oh God, to break grips of this daisy-white chain.
Who do I see in my country-contra-black, why do we
hate?
An octopus, tentacles crushing any normal feeling,
Not in the Koran, Torah nor Bible do we find
apartheid.
Is it wrong Lord to pray for vengeance, is it so very
wrong?
To pray for freedom for a whole people, a nation?
They, who have souls of black, have skin of white leather
strong.
In the future of my people, I see blood tears flow,
Can it not be different, can we not meld & mend?
To throw upon earth, differences for the wind to blow.
