If I were
a bird, I would be the blue jay,
And I would
talk to the lazy brown trout,
Where green
river reeds dance & sway.
If I were
a bird, I would be proud eagle,
And I would
fly away, beyond far oceans,
Where I would
converse with the seagull.
If I were
a bird, I would be an ebony raven,
And I would
sit upon dark cold tombstones,
Where I´d
talk to the dead, within their haven.
If I were
a bird, I would be white silent swan,
And I would
glide slowly, upon the quiet lakes,
Where, being
mute, I would never talk to anyone.
