Languidly, the horizon beckons to me with wanton
eyes,
Those come-hither promises of far distant &
exotic skies,
I wander through this life, seeking with awe
& silly wonder,
Wondering as I wander & on my life I seek
& often ponder.
Roads & paths I wearily tread, calling,
flirting & ever enticing,
Seeking around those corners, the straight,
cutting & splicing,
Oh how I wonder as I wander, of what is ahead
& duly waiting,
And with every dawn I await, with expectant
breath abating.
