Who is this
loner who shuns crowd & noisy din?
She who loves
music & not the banging of tin,
Who is she, who
loves words of poets & seers?
Who in sadness
& joy, is not afraid to shed tears,
She is the loner-she
is the soul.
Who is the loner
who dances beneath milky moon?
She who sheds
raiment in hot merry nights of June,
Who sips dew,
bathes in rain, laughs beneath storms,
Who´s not afraid
of death, but glad that she was born,
She is the loner-she
is the soul.
Who is the loner
who dances wind & whispers breeze?
She who flies
with birds & births new budding of trees,
Who shuns the
searing heat, but loves the dappled rays,
Who dreams silken
nights, wends through long warm days,
She is the loner-she
is the soul.
Who is the solitary
soul who talks deep within our heart?
She who is voice
of wisdom & from crowds, sets us apart,
Who lives within
each one of us, from birth until our death,
Who is the first
we feel & see, she´s our last expiring breath,
She is the loner-she
is the soul.
